My Story:
credentials
Born and raised in the Cincinnati area, Kayla developed a passion for law and social justice from an early age. Growing up, Kayla learned valuable lessons in cooperation, resilience, and compassion. These qualities continue to shape her approach to work and life.
Kayla’s journey into the legal field began working for a small law firm specializing in civil litigation that later merged with a midsize firm covering personal injury, insurance defense, education/school representation, and all aspects of family law across both Ohio and Kentucky.
After spending 7 years diversifying her Paralegal experience over numerous areas of practice, Kayla became desirous of streamlining her field of focus and expertise to the area that she is most passionate - family law. Her goal is to help families and children. Her mission is to make a difference.
Kayla’s nurturing spirit further extends to her home life by helping care for her grandmother who suffers from Dementia. Yet, it is her role as mother for which Kayla holds most valuable.
Kayla lives in Northern Kentucky with her partner and daughter. Whether it’s taking her daughter to the park or swimming pool, spending quality time with family and friends, or enjoying a good book, Kayla finds solace in simple pleasures. She is an overachiever by trade and an empath by heart.
As Office Manager/Paralegal of DeSantis Family Law, Kayla brings her wealth of experience, dedication, and energetic spirit. Kayla’s ability to juggle responsibilities, foster connections, and maintain a warm and efficient environment for clients are pillars to the success of our firm. She is a pivotal part of our team.
